Programming is the heartbeat of our organization. Guided under a national theme for activities, we start early building the foundation of self-awareness and a sense of community with our youth and finish strong rounding out the leaders are children are destined to be.
Youth (Ages 2-12)
Our youth are engaged in activities planned by mothers that emphasize cultural, social, educational, and civic activities, which set the foundations for successful leaders.
Teens (Ages 13-19)
Our teens interact in a self-governing environment strategically aligned with the mothers' program aimed to develop and nurture leadership skills. Additionally, teens are encouraged to hold elected offices, chair committees and further develop their understanding of the value of community service.
Dear Mothers of Portland Willamette Valley Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.:
Thank you for your love and dedication to the success of our children, and for supporting each other. With our combined hard work and dedication, we will ensure our children realize their fullest potential. They will be the future leaders to elevate our nation and positively impact the world.
We are each other’s support. We are each other’s village. Let’s continue to fulfill our creed to work, live, and play together. I’m so thankful to serve as your President. I’m eager to shape the next two years together and build upon the great foundation that was laid by our Charter Mothers in 2014. Our future is bright. Let’s seize our opportunity!
Tracy Mack-Askew, President
